Job description
We are currently working in partnership with Museum & Arts sector organisation based in North London, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor ona 12 month fixed term contract. The position is due to start at the beginning of April. The annual salary being offered for this role is £34,608 per annum.
The ideal candidate must have experience supporting and advising managers on people policies, employee relations, restructures and recruitment.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Working with Senior HR Advisors to support the development of line management capacity in order to assist them to achieve their business objectives
Assisting and advising in the investigation of disciplinaries and grievance cases, maintaining an awareness of current legislation and its application ensuring that policies and procedures are amended accordingly
Attending meetings with Trade Union representatives as required and provide quality advice to managers in respect of employee relations’ issues to support the delivery of an effective service
Supporting management on change and organisational development projects assisting in the provision of workshops for managers and staff on People topics and new initiatives
Coordinating recruitment campaigns to attract and recruit appropriate candidates at all levels
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Experience of working on projects with set outcomes and timescales from an HR perspective
Ability to work in a fast moving working environment
Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and professional HR issues
Diagnostic skills
E-literate
Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
