Job description
We are currently working in partnership with an Somerset-based organisation, who are looking to appoint a Hybrid Housing Officer for a 4-month contract.
This will be a full-time fully remote position, that is offering a respectable rate between £22-£24 via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate must have Housing experience within a council or housing association.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking ownership of a patch with up to 1000 properties in the Bridgwater (Somerset) area
- Handling breaches in occupier agreements, issues warnings, NTQs and manage eviction processes
- Deal with a range of tenancy related matters such as property inspections, hoarding issues, tenancy audits etc
- Providing references for departing households, addressing conduct, arrears and low to high level ASB issues
- Providing a holistic approach in dealing with tenants/families and referring to external agencies as required
- Supporting residents to maximise their income by completing income an expenditure forms and referring to external agencies to support with residents’ finances
- Manage the end-to-end lettings process for social housing properties, including completing verifications, conducting viewings, and processing applications
Experience required:
- Experience required in Housing
- Worked for a Social Housing providers
- Conducting tenancy sign-up
- Serviced NTQs and NOSPs
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Tenancy knowledge
- Ability to deal and build relationship with challenging Tenants
- Manage your own dairy
