Our client, based in Northamptonshire, is currently recruiting for a Tenancy Support Worker on a full time, permanent contract.

The position is due to start as soon as possible following successful interview and offers a highly competitive salary of £27,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold a enhanced DBS registered on the online update service or be willing to have a new DBS check carried out. You will also need access to your own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing floating support to a caseload of 10 customers, who were previously rough sleeping

• Supporting customers with a range of needs including mental health and substance misuse

• Providing daily contact where required to customers in their own homes

• Assisting with all aspects of tenancy support

• Providing welfare benefits and Universal Credit advice if required

• Signposting customers to additional support and external agencies when needed

Experience required:

• Proven experience supporting individuals with homelessness, substance misuse or mental health issues

• Personable and positive attitude

• Ability to work in a team effectively but also manage individual work load
