Job description

Our client, a Local Authority based in Essex, is currently recruiting for a Sheltered Housing Services Manager on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable, up to £42.08 via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing staff at a management level, and have experience working in a sheltered housing environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for overseeing all of the sheltered housing team, including 17 schemes and a day operations centre
  • Managing circa 30 staff, including 2 Sheltered Housing Managers
  • Carrying out appraisals, 1 2 1s and recruitment
  • Budget and stakeholder management
  • Attending management meetings

    • 37 hours per week
    • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
