We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Essex, who are recruiting for an Housing Officer on a temporary 3 months contract.

The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £28 per hour via an umbrella company and they offer up to 4 days a week, working from home.

The ideal candidate will have proven tenancy management experience, drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of approximately 450-650 properties across East Southend
• Overseeing and dealing with all tenancy enquires and acting as the residents’ first point of contact
• Managing sign-ups, successions, mutual exchanges and transfers
• Carrying out regular estate inspection
• Supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies and advise on welfare and benefits
• NO ASB OR RENTS INVOLVED IN THIS ROLE
• Systems (desirable) – Northgate and Civica

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 8.30am-5pm
