Job description

Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a Team Manager – Intensive Support Service on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary rate is between £39,520 - £46,800 per annum, negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, homelessness and drugs and alcohol. They also must hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of around 8 staff including a Deputy Manager, Support Workers and Assistant Support Workers

  • Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships

  • Ensuring the smooth running or the service

  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of housing law, welfare rights, immigration law, etc

  • Ensuring health and safety at all times for employees and buildings

  • Monitoring staff workflow and managing performance

  • Leading, supporting and motivating team

Experience required:

  • Experience required in homelessness

  • Experience working in drugs and alcohol

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Team management

  • Compliance and due diligence

  • Laws and regulations

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
