Job description
Our client, based in Devon, is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Manager on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary will be between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young people between 16 – 18 years old, happy to have a new enhanced DBS and also have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing and supporting a team of 6 Supported Housing Officer’s across multiple sites
Have experience of OFSTED registered services and understand how the regulators work
Working with young people between the ages of 16 – 18, that have complex needs such as care leavers, learning disabilities and substance misuse
Experience of recruiting, inducting and completing appraisals with a Supported Housing staff. You will have to manage all key performance indicators and partake in any training modules
Implement the Health & Safety policies and ensure that all staff are aware of all Health & Safety procedures
Provide leadership and coaching within the home to ensure best outcomes for our children and young people
Ensure full participation and co-operation with the comprehensive and integrated Quality Assurance systems, including taking responsibility for all duties associated with compliance. This includes the independent visit process
Make sure that best practice is maintained by conducting regular quality assurance inspections
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with Ofsted regulated services

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
