Our client, based in Devon, is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Manager on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The annual salary will be between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young people between 16 – 18 years old, happy to have a new enhanced DBS and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Managing and supporting a team of 6 Supported Housing Officer’s across multiple sites

• Have experience of OFSTED registered services and understand how the regulators work

• Working with young people between the ages of 16 – 18, that have complex needs such as care leavers, learning disabilities and substance misuse

• Experience of recruiting, inducting and completing appraisals with a Supported Housing staff. You will have to manage all key performance indicators and partake in any training modules

• Implement the Health & Safety policies and ensure that all staff are aware of all Health & Safety procedures

• Provide leadership and coaching within the home to ensure best outcomes for our children and young people

• Ensure full participation and co-operation with the comprehensive and integrated Quality Assurance systems, including taking responsibility for all duties associated with compliance. This includes the independent visit process

• Make sure that best practice is maintained by conducting regular quality assurance inspections

Experience required:

Experience required in Social Housing

Experience working with Ofsted regulated services
