We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Plumber to join their growing team on a temporary basis until the end of March working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.

This is a full-time position being either in a South London (x1) or North London patch (x1), with a daily rate of pay of £25.55 per hour umbrella being dependent on experience.

A basic DBS will be needed for the role, a van and tools with be provided.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carry out any and all responsive repairs as directed across multi trades

• To be responsible for completing a range of plumbing repair & maintenance work for tenants and voids properties

• Ensure that associated works such as removing/refitting kitchen units, wall and floor tiling, skirting, panelling and ducting etc are carried out also to a high standard

• Identify the correct materials and tools for each job and collect and transport materials to site ensuring that all stock/materials audit procedures are adhered to

• Liaise with office-based staff, residents or their representatives and outside bodies/staff to ensure appointments are kept and access arrangements are handled in a proper and timely manner

• Review and record repair work specified both before and during jobs, reporting back on any additional work required or the need for an alternative design solution

• Ensure that all compliance issues that come to your attention e.g., health and safety, vandalism and antisocial behaviour are identified, documented, reported and remedied in a timely fashion

Experience required:

• Sound working trade knowledge and experience

• Experience gained within a maintenance, site and Housing environment

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Able to deliver excellent customer service

• Multi-trade knowledge and skills
