Our client, based in the City of London, is currently recruiting for a Outreach Support Worker on a 1 month rolling contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £22.74 p/h via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with homeless clients hold a enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years and also be prepared to work outreach.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of between 30-40 complex needs clients
• Offering floating support across the Tower Hamlets area
• Working in partnership with other service providers such as mental health nurses and psychiatrists
• Providing safeguarding for service
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Crafting ang Implementing individualised support plans

Experience required:

• Experience required providing outreach support to homeless clients
• Experience using CHAIN is desirable

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Compassion, empathy and perseverance
• Ability to respond well to challenging circumstances or behaviours
