Our client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a permanent basis!

With a salary of £32,000 – £33,000 this role is ideal for anyone with experience covering a patch of Social Housing properties who is looking for their next challenge in and around South Manchester.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing at the officer level and have access to their own vehicle with a full UK Driving License.

Please note this role is subject to a basic DBS check.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing your own patch and carrying out all aspects of tenancy management
• Being responsible for allocations and lettings
• Carrying out anti-social behaviour casework and resolving domestic abuse and harassment cases
• Being responsible for safeguarding and tenancy support including tenancy and estate management
• Completing tenancy changes/mutual exchanges/succession and assignment/left in occupancy
• Investigating tenancy fraud cases
• Carrying out the collection of rent and setting up payment plans for residents

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday flexible working between 8am-6pm
• Hybrid Working
