Job description
We are thrilled to partner with a leading Local Government to recruit a trustworthy Permanent Housing Officer, based in Honiton, salary of £35,235 - £41,511.00 per annum, and one day working from home.
Role details:
Rate: £35,235.00 to £41,511.00 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00am to 17:00pm)
Location: Honiton & 1 day working from home
The ideal candidiate will have experince within general housing, and be able to deliver comprehensive and robust estate management service to tenants
Duties will include:
Assisting vulnerable clients with general housing management issues, such as ASB queries, tenancy management and income support
Establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals, maintaining regular contact and facilitating a co-produced planned programme of support
Assisting individuals to identify and access appropriate move on accommodation
Assessing the support needs and risks of individuals and risk management procedures
Working in parentship with external agencies to facilitate the effective delivery of support and improve outcomes for those receiving our services
Handling breaches in occupier agreements, issues warnings, NTQs and manage eviction processes
Effectively managing temporary accommodation supplies, overseeing placements, rent payments and liability reduction through the housing debt management process
Providing references for departing households, addressing conduct, arrears and ASB Issues
Monitoring and managing rent accounts, ensuring arrears and addressed in line with organisation procedures up to 200 properties
Delivering and budgeting advice to individuals to ensure income maximisation
