We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Middlesex, who are recruiting for a Damp & Mould Surveyor on a 2-month temporary to permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £42 via an Umbrella company.

The permanent salary is up to £46,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have experience of carrying out Damp & Mould Surveys, preferably within a Social Housing setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting comprehensive surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues

• Utilising moisture meters, hygrometers, and other diagnostic tools to measure dampness

• Preparing detailed reports outlining findings, causes, and recommended actions

• Overseeing remedial works carried out by contractors, ensuring they meet industry standards

• Maintaining accurate records of surveys, reports, and remedial actions

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience of carrying out damp & mould surveys

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of damp & mould legislations

• Minimum HNC in Surveying
