Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a well-known Housing Association in the North West, who are looking to appoint a Community Investment Lead on a 4 Month temporary contract with a chance of it going permanent.
This will be a full-time position based in Lancashire, with hybrid working (2days home working) and an hourly rate that is negotiable based on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the delivery of a Community Investment strategy as well as working collaboratively to design and deliver projects and programmes that respond directly to the needs and aspirations of the Associations customers and communities.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting the development and implementation of a strategy and framework for community investment
Managing a small team who are responsible for supporting the delivery of community investment priorities across the Housing Association
Maintaining a network of effective partnerships with external stakeholders including Councils, Charities and the private sector
Planning and delivering a programme of community investment and social value projects that meet the needs and aspirations of tenants
Focusing on themes such as employment, education, health, wellbeing, digital inclusion, and environmental initiatives
Overseeing the delivery of a Community Fund and supporting the allocation of funding and resources acquired through social value contributions
Monitoring and evaluating the impact and outcomes of community investment and social value activities.
Using various channels and formats, such as reports, newsletters, social media, blogs, or events to communicate and showcase the achievements and stories of tenants.
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working within Community Involvement
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Having knowledge of community engagement and empowerment frameworks
Being able to design and deliver engaging and inclusive projects and programmes for communities
Possessing excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills,
Having the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working hours:
36.25 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
