We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in West Yorkshire, who are seeking a Surveyor for a temporary contract until the end of March 2025. The position is available for an immediate start, with an hourly rate of £27-£29 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting damp and mould inspections in tenanted properties, and have access to their own vehicle. Additionally, candidates should have a proven track record of liaising with customers within the housing sector.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Visiting properties in order to undertake initial inspections to diagnose damp and mould

• Surveying existing work within the properties, including quality control inspections

• Diagnosing faults within tenant’s properties following inspections

• Working with the Repairs Manager and Multi-trade Operatives to co-ordinate repairs and ensuring they are carried out correctly

• Ensuring customer needs are properly understood and works are completed to a good standard and in line with the organisations policy and procedures

• Diagnosing types of damp and mould and issuing resolutions for follow up works to be completed

Experience required:

• Experience required in completing damp and mould inspections on tenanted properties

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of damp and mould, including how to diagnose different types and develop effective solutions

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
