We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Kent, who are recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a 2–3-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent. The position is due to start immediately, with interviews being conducted next week.

The ideal candidate will be an organised and empathetic individual who has previous experience working as a Scheme Manager.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing around 50 units of supported housing for over 55s

• Supporting the residents with independent living

• Leading on community involvement

• Overseeing the reletting of void properties

• Carrying out regular welfare checks

• Performing warden call and fire safety checks

• Dealing with low level ASB

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Experience resolving complaints or negative consumer feedback

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation

• Experience working within a housing scheme

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
