Job description

We are currently partnering with a progressive Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is the proud provider of 6,500 affordable and sustainable properties to over 15,000 tenants and they are looking to expand their Asset Department.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £40,318 per annum and the start date is subject to notice however, they are looking at getting the right candidate in as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Collecting vital data on the Housing Association’s homes and wider portfolio of properties to help ensure required standards are met and enable them to prioritise their investment programmes

  • Assessing for long term maintenance requirements on internal and external elements of the properties

  • Completing and inputting surveys using the organisation's asset management package to ensure property data is current and accurate

  • Making recommendations for any required works

Requirements:

  • Building related qualification (ONC or equivalent) or with comparable experience

  • Experience completing stock condition/investment surveys to homes and a familiarity with HHSRS

  • Awareness of Asbestos management processes in accordance with standards.

  • Full UK driving licence
