Job description
Our client, based in West London, is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor on a contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The contract is paid per survey at £20 per flat, £34 per house and a £4 first knock No Access rate.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 months experience completing stock condition surveys in social housing properties and hold a Basic DBS dated in the last 12 months.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
Understanding of life cycles to identify how old installations are to be able to accurately estimate when it will need replacing
Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices
Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures
Experience required:
12 months experience conducting stock condition surveys
Social housing experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
HHSRS
Understanding of damp & mould issues
Working hours:
4 days a week commitment
35 surveys minimum
