Job description
We are currently partnering with a leading educational body based in Central London, who are recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is proud to be one of the oldest educational institutions in London who teach students across a wide range of courses. They welcome students from across the globe and have been recognised internationally for their work.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £63,000 - £68,000 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring all their HR related queries are answered
Providing strategic input to the client group to ensure commercial activity and business ambitions are met
Leading on complex ER case and coaching managers on how to handle the early stages of cases in order to mitigate risk
Leading on organisational change which may include restructures and TUPE
Supporting managers on the change processes and assisting them with any redundancies
Analysing people data to identify issues and offer solutions by implementing new develop plans and policies
Advising and supporting on recruitment for senior level roles by ensuring hiring managers are following all organisational policies
Promoting inclusion and diversity for the organisation ensuring the business decisions reflect this on a daily basis
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Significant HR generalist experience within a complex, ambiguous and unionised environment, with proven success in delivering impactful strategic HR initiatives
Experience of leading and managing organisational change
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, alongside commercial and financial understanding, to enable demonstrable business focussed advice and decision making
Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and use findings to inform people strategy and initiatives
Liaising with Trade Unions
