We are currently working in partnership with an industry leader in the building & construction market, who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC who has previous experience working in the blue-collar industries.

This will be a full-time position based in Tamworth, with 1 day working from home per week and a salary of c. £40k.

The ideal candidate will have a generalist background & previous experience of working ER cases.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations issues

• Liaise with managers on recruitment needs and support by placing adverts and participating in the interview stage

• Support the site with any tribunal claims

• Completing HR administration & paperwork, such as offers & candidates

• Collaborate with managers in identifying development needs and opportunities

• Support with the management & running of the HR team

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Organised and self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain solid relationships

• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills

• Having experience of coaching and guiding others
