We are proud to be partnering with a Housing Association in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint a Responsive Repairs Team Leader on a temporary basis until December 2024.

This will be a full-time position based in the East Midlands with an hourly rate of up to £37 per hour on a CIS basis.

The ideal candidate must have trade construction knowledge (plumbing, carpentry and electrical), social housing experience and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working within the complex works team within a Housing Association

• Supporting the existing repairs team leaders by managing workloads referred back from in-house operatives

• Acting as the first point of contact for trade referrals

• Completing Damp and Mould inspections on tenanted properties

• Completing post inspections of properties following responsive repair works

• Shadowing and growing senior trade operatives and helping to develop and grow these roles

• Attending site visits

• Completing work assessments and raising work for and overseeing contractors on site

• Managing and resolving complaints occurring from repairs works completed

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• Experience working with damp and mould

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
