We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager, on a hybrid basis, for one of the UKs leading charities for a 3-month period. This is a full-time position with a hourly rate up to £35 via an Umbrella Company.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a care facility, ensuring the highest standards of support are provided to residents. You will lead and inspire a team of support professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

  • Managing budgets, maintaining accurate records

  • Working closely with families and external agencies to provide person-centered care

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Being responsible for supervising 2 services, with 8 independent living clients with 18 staff members below

  • Carrying out staff appraisals, assisting with training, recruitment and set team targets that abided by SLA’s

  • Leading and developing teams in delivering forward thinking, person-centered, high-quality services that meet the needs of individuals and commissioners

  • Ensuring that the tools of person-centered recovery planning (ISSP) are embedded into local practice and that staff are utilising systems correctly to record support activities

  • Driving compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements; whilst striving to achieve the best possible outcomes and internal/external recognition of quality

  • Overseeing the service and deal with all operational management and any associated issues

  • Completing staff rotas and monitor hours completed by staff

  • Overseeing and advising on Support Plans and Risk Assessments

Experience required:

  • Experience within Mental Health

  • Proven ability to improve services

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations

  • Safeguarding

  • An ability to balance operational responsibilities with a hands-on approach

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Hybrid working – 1/2 days WFH

  • No Weekends

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
