Job description
We are proud to be partnering with Housing Association based in Bedfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Project Officer (Lift Safety/LOLER) on a temporary basis for three months.
This will be a full-time position, with a daily rate of up to £300 per day via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience must have experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditation, and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Acting as the main point of contact for contract management of the annual and cyclical lift maintenance, service and LOLER programmes across the domestic housing stock
Ensuring legislative and regulatory duties in relation to lifting are met and followed by customers, contractors and staff
Working with the Property Services and Finance team to manage and report on planned and cyclical budgets
Ensuring that all contractor compliance data and certification is accurate and valid, viewing any contractor documentation and addressing any shortfallings
Ensuring that projects are well planned and that performance targets are met by contractors, in line with KPIs
Contract managing any small cyclical programmes as required (e.g. PAT testing)
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Numerate with good communication skills and ability to provide high quality reports
A good working knowledge of IT, including Asprey, Microsoft Office software, CRM, Keystone, or other compliance/Social Housing software
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
