Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for 2 x Post-inspection Surveyors on a 2 -3 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate is up to £350 per day via umbrella.

The ideal candidate will have of experience of damp & mould and general repairs in a social housing environment. A HND or RICS qualification is essential.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Performing post-inspection surveys on social housing properties

• Utilising a thorough understanding of damp & mould and general knowledge to complete the surveys and reporting any health and safety hazards found on the premises

• Undertaking surveys on an electronic handheld device in a timely manner following prior training

• Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out

• Working in accordance with changing legislation, as well as health & safety policies and procedures

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience of carrying out post-inspections

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of damp & mould legislations

• Able to prioritise own workload

• Able to produce post-inspection reports to a high standard
