Our client, based in Bolton, is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC to cover a maternity leave.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with a salary of up to £35k and a hybrid working model.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR administration and good employment law knowledge.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as the primary contact for staff enquiries, delivering prompt and accurate information on HR policies and procedures

• Supporting the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and onboarding new hires

• Supporting compliance with employment laws and company standards across all HR functions

• Assisting in the development, rollout, and communication of HR policies and initiatives

• Maintaining employee records, updating the HR database, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations

• Providing administrative assistance to the Group HR Director, contributing to projects and process improvements

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• A good understanding of HR practices, employment law, and data protection

• Previous experience in a HR administrative or officer role

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail

• A solution-focused approach with a willingness to learn
