Job description
Our client, based in Bolton, is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC to cover a maternity leave.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with a salary of up to £35k and a hybrid working model.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR administration and good employment law knowledge.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Acting as the primary contact for staff enquiries, delivering prompt and accurate information on HR policies and procedures
Supporting the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and onboarding new hires
Supporting compliance with employment laws and company standards across all HR functions
Assisting in the development, rollout, and communication of HR policies and initiatives
Maintaining employee records, updating the HR database, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
Providing administrative assistance to the Group HR Director, contributing to projects and process improvements
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
A good understanding of HR practices, employment law, and data protection
Previous experience in a HR administrative or officer role
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail
A solution-focused approach with a willingness to learn
