Job description
We are currently partnering with a reputable Housing Association based in South East London, who are recruiting for a Plumber to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £36,000 and the start date is subject to notice.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Social Housing, hold a basic DBS and have a full UK driver’s license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Undertaking all aspects of plumbing installations, fault finding, repairs, and minor associated works
Completing any additional works that may be required to deliver a first time-fix repair in its entirety
Ensuring issues identified regarding Damp & mould are recorded and escalated
Planning work in an economical and effective manner, making the best use of IT, available time, plant, transport and materials in accordance with set performance targets
Correctly completing all documentation as required and provide or input all information associated with the duties undertaken
Liaising with other team members and departments, clients or other contractors to ensure work is properly coordinated
Driving company vehicles in a safe, careful and professional manner and in accordance with appropriate policies
Managing and maintaining an agreed range of stock/ materials and equipment within the vehicle provided
Managing materials effectively minimise waste
Experience required:
Experience required of First Fix
Experience working in Social Housing
Fault Finding Experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
City and Guilds trade qualification or equivalent
Full driving licence

40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8am-4.30pm
