Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a locum Planning Lawyer to join the team for three months initially.
The role offers remote working, and a rate in the region of £55 p/hour UMB subject to PQE, and the
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a wide-ranging caseload of both straightforward and complex legal work spanning planning, environmental, and highways law and governance
Providing high quality well researched legal advice and assistance to client departments within agreed timescales, in regards to planning matters
Supporting the Principal Solicitor and other colleagues in ensuring that a professional, comprehensive legal service is provided to the Council, its Members and Officers
Advising at Planning Committees as required
Experience required:
Local Government Planning Law
Working hours:
37 hours per week
