Job description

A People Systems Administrator is needed for our client in the Housing Sector to support an exciting HR technology transformation project. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining the new HR system, ensuring streamlined processes and effective governance. This is a fixed-term opportunity from January 2025 - April 2025 and is the ideal role for candidates with system administration expertise looking to make a tangible impact on people processes.

Role: People Systems Administrator

Contract Duration: January 2025 - April 2025

Working Arrangements: Hybrid working roughly 2 days a week in either their London, Wiltshire or Devon Offices

Hourly Rate: £15.50

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Programme Delivery Group (PDG) for seamless implementation of the new HR system into business-as-usual operations (BAU).

• Manage data collection, analysis, formatting, and migration while maintaining data integrity.

• Perform system administration tasks, including creating process documentation, user guides, and training materials.

• Work closely with the People and IT teams on system integrations (e.g., People, Payroll, Workforce Management systems).

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other system testing activities (SIT/SAT).

• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing maintenance.

• Provide day-to-day support to the People Operations team, including assistance with transactional processes.

• Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Proven experience supporting HRIS solutions and contributing to successful HR system projects.

• Strong understanding of Data Management principles and GDPR/Data Governance standards.

• Ability to co-design system solutions, focusing on end-user experience.

• Experience supporting system integrations and working with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); familiarity with PowerApps and PowerBI is advantageous.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, exercising sound judgement and business acumen.

Desirable:

• Experience working with HRIS solutions, particularly Dayforce.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar case management tools.

• Familiarity with DocuSign or similar document management systems.

• Experience with reporting tools, data manipulation, and system implementations involving data migration.

• Exposure to interface design and technology options.
