Job description
We are supporting a public sector organisation who are looking to appoint a People Change Business Partner on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract to lead an organisation wide restructure project.
This will be a full-time position, paying £50k - £55k, based in Greater Manchester with hybrid working (2 days WFH) and flexible working hours.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in organisation restructure and experience working with Trade Unions, with a focus on reviewing operating models and supporting redundacies.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading a large restructure project affecting all aspects of the organisation
Working closely with existing HR Business Partners to advise on the re-design of current operating models
Working closely with Trade Unions to ensure they are kept informed of proposed changes
Reviewing proposed target operating models, completing job evaluations and organisational re-design
Carrying out consultations with employees and stakeholders of various levels regarding redundancies, redeployments and other impacts of the restructures
Identifying required interventions following the re-designs around organisational development and recruitment
Experience required:
Proven experience in organisational design and restructures
Confident in engaging with key stakeholders and Trade Unions
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Experience working with or within the Public Sector
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Proactive and hands-on, with a strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging issues
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Minimum of L5 CIPD
