Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a charity that supports undeserved neighbourhoods across the UK to help children and young people build the social, emotional and academic skills they need to flourish, who are looking to appoint a permanent HR Advisor.

This will be a full-time position based in West London, with hybrid working (2 days home working) and a salary of circa £33,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing effective HR Administration and people management skills.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting job evaluations

  • Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies

  • Leading on the onboarding process for successful applicants

  • Providing advice and playing a major role in change processes

  • Leading on and managing the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices

  • Consulting on issues related to employee relations and performance management

  • Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, employment legislation

  • Payroll management and administration supported by the Finance team

  • Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data

Experience required:

  • Consulting on issues related to ER casework

  • Updating and maintaining HR systems

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Effective HR administration and people management skills

  • Excellent communication, administration, planning, organizational and prioritising skills

  • Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and employment legislation
