Job description
Our client, based in Bristol, is currently recruiting for a Party Wall Surveyor on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary is negotiable upon level of seniority and experience for the role.
The ideal candidate will have with Party Wall matters, or looking to specialise in this discipline, with building surveying experience.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Advising client on the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 and other neighbourly matters
- Reviewing drawings, issuing Party Wall Notices and drafting Party Wall Awards
- Inspecting neighbouring properties, preparing Schedules of Condition, and assessing damage caused by development works
- Reviewing site boundaries, title documents, and third-party agreements, including easements and access licenses
Experience required:
- Party Wall or Building Surveying background
- Proficient in AutoCAD
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Understanding of Party Wall Act 1996
- Awareness of building pathology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
