Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Wembley, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with 2 DAYS HOME WORKING. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing basic tenancy management services, have dealt with ASB issues, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Housing Officer duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing the re-letting of void properties
Dealing with low level ASB such as noise complaints and neighbour disputes
Managing the introductory tenancy process
Performing regular estate inspections
Reporting repairs
Arranging viewing of void properties
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good organizational and time management skills
A thourough knowledge of lettings
Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent computer literacy
