Are you an experience housing professional looking for a new opportunity? We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Lettings Officer for a Local Authority.

This is a full-time position with a hourly rate of up to £23.00 via an Umbrella Company and the start date is subject to your notice period.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Allocating properties in accordance with the Allocations Policy and minimising the void period between tenancies by ensuring properties are let at the earliest opportunity

• Conducting pre- and post-letting inspections to ensure properties are in good condition

•  Providing advice and guidance to applicants both over the phone and in person during the allocation of their tenancy

• Maintaining accurate records of bookings and incidents during lettings

• Monitoring property void times and targets of performance in the letting of properties

• Developing positive working relationships with external agencies to support vulnerable applicants

• Advertising all available properties on HomeFinder to find suitable tenants for each available property

• Interviewing and verifying perspective tenants for the shortlisting for each property

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
