Job description
Our client, in the social housing sector, is looking for an experienced IT Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for 6 months to provide 1st and 2nd line support across their IT estate. This will be a hybrid working role with 3 days in office in central Manchester and 2 days from home.

Day Rate: £130.00 per day via umbrella
Position Overview:
Working directly with the Head of IT & Projects, you'll play a crucial role in delivering technical support and services across the organisation, with a particular focus on the ActiveH Housing Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll provide comprehensive support for the ActiveH Housing Management System, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction while delivering training to staff across the organisation.
Taking ownership of first and second-line IT support, you'll manage incidents across multiple platforms including VMWare, Windows, iOS, and server-based systems, maintaining high service standards and quick resolution times.
You'll contribute to the IT Service Desk knowledge base, documenting solutions and sharing expertise to reduce recurring issues while managing Active Directory permissions in collaboration with their Managed Service Provider.
Supporting the Mobile Device Management platform, you'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient operation while maintaining integration and reporting products.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience supporting MIS ActiveH Housing Management Systems
Strong background in Microsoft desktop technologies and end-user computing support
Comprehensive understanding of Data Protection legislation
Excellent teamwork abilities combined with strong initiative
Commitment to understanding and supporting diverse user needs
Desirable Qualifications:
ITIL Foundation certification
SQL scripting experience
