We are delighted to be collaborating with an award-winning Housing Association, who are looking to appoint an Independent Living Manager, predominately working from home, based in Somerset, and offered on a 6-months fixed-term contract.

Role details:

• Rate: £43,695 to £46,731 per annum

• Contract: 6-months, fixed-term contract

• Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00am to 17:00pm)

• Location: Primarily working from home (70%), & Somerset (30% patch based)

The successful candidate will have managed a team in a Social Housing setting and hold a Enhanced dbs within 3 years.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing sheltered schemes for those aged 55+ in independent Living

• Reporting directly to the Director, relaying back updates on the services

• Developing staff (1 Team Leader, 5 Independent Living Officers), devise action plans, carry out 1-2-1s, and appraisals, focusing on performance, attitude and behaviour

• Conducting team meetings and help to improve the quality of service on a day-to-day basis

• Ensuring that all services are delivered within budget, meeting targets and residents’ satisfaction

• Providing stats on performance, other KPIs, and ensuring that targets are met
