Job description
Our client, based in Nottinghamshire is currently recruiting for a Income Officer on a temporary contract for 4 months. The role does not offer agile working and would be fully patch and office based work.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable up to £25.00 via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate must have experience of income management and hold a full UK Driving License.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Undertaking all aspects of income recovery – including court case work and debt recovery
Recommending cases for court action and preparation of legal paperwork for the service of notices, possession proceedings and evictions
Monitoring rent accounts and address/progress all cases of debt in accordance with any policies, procedures and principles
Providing advice and assistance to all tenants who have rent arrears by visiting them on a regular basis and maximising personal contact
Conducting income and expenditure risk assessments and negotiating repayment agreements with tenants
Identifying and providing support to vulnerable tenants, liaising with and making appropriate referrals
Keeping full and detailed records of all actions taken and all contact with tenants
Experience and Skills required:
Minimum two years’ experience within the sector
Must hold a full UK driver’s license and have access to a car
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8:30am-6pm with flexibility between these hours
