Job description

Our client, based in Telford, is currently recruiting for a HR Manager on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover a maternity leave.

The position is paying £50-55k and offers two days home working and comes at a crucial time with support needed for a large TUPE transfer following a recent acquisition, so experience leading on end-to-end TUPE is a must.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading on the end-to-end process for the TUPE-in of employees following a recent acquisition, including due diligence, consultations and potential redundancy/settlement agreements

  • Following the TUPE process this role will sit on the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for all aspects of generalist HR

  • Managing ER casework, including grievance, disciplinary and absence management

  • Supporting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good multi-tasking and organisational skills

  • Strong previous experience leading TUPE projects

  • Experience of partnering with leadership and senior members of staff

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm
