We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning Housing Association to recruit a reliable and trustworthy Housing Officer. This will be a part-time position based in Plymouth, offered on a 12-month contract with flexible working hours!

Role details:

• Rate: Paying up to £27.00 per hour

• Contract: 12 months (ongoing)

• Hours: 15 hours per week, flexible working

• Location: Plymouth

The successful candidate will have experience in income and a thorough understanding of Housing Associations.

Duties will include:

• Managing temporary accommodation supplies, overseeing placements, rent payments and liability reduction through the housing debt management process

• Ensuring the condition of temporary accommodations, conducing regular inspections, booking repairs and monitoring hygiene standards for permanent lettable state

• Supporting leaseholder landlords to meet lease agreements for homeless household accommodations

• Handling breaches in occupier agreements, issues warnings, NTQs and manage evictions processes

• Providing references for departing households, addressing conduct, arrears and ASB issues

• Taking ownership of a geographical patch and be solution orientated to provide excellent customer service at al times to both internal and external customers

• Providing a holistic approach in dealing with tenants/families and referring to external agencies as required
