Our client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 2-month temporary contract with a strong chance of either an extension or permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing and have access to their own vehicle with a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing your own patch and carrying out all aspects of tenancy management
• Being responsible for allocations and lettings
• Carrying out anti-social behavior casework and resolving domestic abuse and harassment cases
• Being responsible for safeguarding and tenancy support including tenancy and estate management
• Completing tenancy changes/mutual exchanges/succession and assignment/left in occupancy
• Investigating tenancy fraud cases
• Carrying out the collection of rent and setting up payment plans for residents

Working hours:

• 36 hours per week
• Monday – Friday flexible working between 8am-6pm
• 3 days working from home
• 1 week out of 3 fully in office
