We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Co-Operative based in West London, who are recruiting for a Housing & Co-Operative Services Manager on an 18-Month FTC. The position is due to start immediately. The salary is negotiable depending on experience but will begin around the £48,000 mark.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a TMO, RMO or Co-Operative, have managed staff and services and be able to take the lead and implement the necessary changes demanded by residents.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Collaborating with the Maintenance & Facilities Manager to ensure properties are maintained in good condition

• Collaborating with the Finance Officer to proactively manage and address rent arrears

• Preparing and serving legal notices as required

• Representing the Co-op in the County Court, including rent arrears cases, and accompany bailiffs where necessary

• Overseeing the Co-op's Complaints Policy, ensuring prompt and thorough investigation of all complaints

• Continually reviewing and refining the Co-op's housing management policies and strategies

Experience required:

• Experience required in TMO/RMO or small housing organization

• Experience representing organisations in court

• Experience creating and implementing new policies and stragegies

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
