Our client, based in Southwest London, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Support Worker on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is fixed at £17.30 PAYE or £20.29 Umbrella.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold a clear, enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and show a passion for delivering excellent support.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working with a caseload of 5-7 individuals who are living with a range of complex needs

• Assisting with the day to day running of the hostel

• Carrying out building checks and Health & Safety checks

• Liaising with other professionals to arrange additional care for clients

• Advocating on behalf of clients

• Completing housing applications and referrals forms

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

• Risk assessment and management

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people or groups

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Split across the following shifts – 07:00-15:00 or 14:30-22:30 or 09:00-17:00 or 12:00-20:00
