Job description
We are currently working in partnership with an educational institution based in North West London, who are recruiting for a Head of HR on a permanent contract. The client is happy to start someone on notice. The salary for the role is £60,000 - £65,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working at Head of HR level and have been part of the SLT. The role requires the individual to be able to work both strategically and operationally on all remits of HR. Our client is also looking for someone with experience of line managing staff as they will oversee the core HR function.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy
Managing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent
Overseeing employee relations, including handling grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
Leading the development and implementation of performance management systems
Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management
Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics and analytics
Experience required:
Working within the education sector
Line management

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
