We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Floating Support on a 3-month contract. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £17 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience withing within Housing, and experience working alongside vulnerable individuals, and have a DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out, and have proven experience of Support Worker duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Provide a floating support service to clients in their own homes who suffer from complex needs

• Offer advice to clients in order to help them live on their own and maintain their accommodation

• Attend appointments with clients when required

• Keep support plans and risk assessments up to date

• Offer welfare and benefits advice to help clients to increase their money and avoid going into arrears

• Help clients achieve independent living

• Signpost clients to relevant third parties and liaise with external agencies

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk and support assessments

• Benefits and welfare advice

• Knowledge of safeguarding

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
