​We are currently partnering with a Social Housing provider in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £65,000 - £75,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Provide a comprehensive and professional Financial Reporting service the group and associated companies

• Line manage team of four: Capital Accountant and three Assistant Accountants

• Overseeing and having responsibility for the provision and maintenance of: Financial Accounts including statutory reporting, Management Accounts and Technical Accounting including: Capital, Corporation Tax, Leases, Grants Service Charges

Experience, skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Social Housing, minimum 2-5 years

• Management of a finance team

• Creation of management and statutory accounts

• Presentation of complex financial information to senior management and stakeholder

• Experience of capital and grant accounting in a Housing association or similar

• Knowledge of VAT accounting and partial exemption
