Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Not For Profit organisation based in Hampshire, who are recruiting for an ER Partner on a temporary 3 month contract. The position is due to start at the beginning of March, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay being offered for this role will be circa £22-24 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in employment law, conflict resolution, and HR policies experience as well as experience advising leaders, managing complex cases, fostering engagement, and ensuring fair, compliant workplace practices.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Provided high-level HR advice, support, and guidance to key stakeholders
Managed complex employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, and long-term absence
Applied HR policies, best practices, and employment law to support organisational objectives
Coached managers on recruitment, employee relations, staff welfare, and performance management
Maintained HR systems, ensure accurate reporting, and support TUPE processes where required
Experience required:
Typically 3-5+ years in HR, employee relations, or a related field
Understanding of labor laws, company policies, and compliance requirements
Experience handling employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions
Ability to manage ER cases, maintain records, and track trends
Working with managers, HR teams, and legal counsel to address ER issues
Skills, knowledge and expertiserequired:
Deep understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR policies
Strong problem-solving skills to manage disputes effectively
Ability to handle sensitive conversations with diplomacy
Capability to assess situations and make fair, data-driven decisions
Advising managers and employees on best ER practices
