Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Staffordshire, who are recruiting for an Empty Homes Officer on a temporary 2-month contract.
The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £30 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HHSRS regulations and have worked within the Private Rented sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Identifying properties falling into disrepair
Bringing properties back into circulation
Identifying category 1 hazards under HHSRS
Serving notices and liaising with landlords about disrepairs
Experience required:
Ideally have worked within private rented housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Compliance and due diligence
HHSRS regulations

Either part-time or full-time hours (22.5 up to 37.5 hours per week)
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
