Our Local Authority client based in the North-West, is currently recruiting for an Employment Solicitor on a locum basis for up to 12-months.

The position offers part-time working for 2-3 days a week, is fully remote, and the hourly rate is in the region of £50 – 60 p/hour UMB.

The ideal candidate will have experience of assisting the wider team with general and civil litigation.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a full caseload of Employment Law matters

• Leading on Employment Tribunal processes, mainly defence cases

• Drafting and negotiating a range of documents and agreements, including finalising bundles and draft statements

• Supporting more junior members of the team with any queries

• Deputising for the Principal Solicitor in their absence

Working hours:

• 2-3 days a week
