We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association with operations across the UK, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a temporary three-month contract based in Redruth. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £21.76 CIS per hour.

The ideal candidate will have either a 17th or 18th Edition Qualification as well as a City Guilds Level 2 and have proven domestic Electrical experience.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for carrying out high quality responsive repairs to the housing stock in accordance with customers’ requirements working on both occupied and empty homes as the need arises

• Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping accurate and timely records of works

• Liaising as necessary with other sections/trades to ensure implementation and completion of repairs and maintenance works

• Using any tools, machinery, equipment or hazardous substances in accordance with information and instruction provided

• Reporting any health and safety concerns or danger to line management as soon as practicable

Working hours:

• 39 hours per week

• 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 3:30pm finish on a Friday
