​We are currently partnering with a large Social Housing provider in the Somerset area, who are recruiting for an Electrician to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is the proud provider of 6,500 sustainable properties, with ambitious development plans!

This is a full-time position with a salary of £38,495 per annum, van and fuel card all included.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out rewires, repairs and inspections

• Working to a first time fix where possible

• Installing and maintain energy saving/carbon reducing technology

• Diagnosing and repairing of faults and final testing, including the completion of relevant certification and reporting of defects

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working in a responsive manner

• Experience partaking in a call out rota

• Experience testing and inspecting

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• An NVQ level 3 or equivalent

• Working knowledge of the current edition of BS7671
