Job description
Our client, based in Norfolk, is currently recruiting for an Electrician on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start as soon as possible. The annual salary is circa £34,000 rising to circa £36,000 with quarterly pay reviews.
The ideal candidate will have strong domestic and social housing experience, with 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Carrying out responsive repairs and fixed electrical testing on domestic Social Housing properties
Conducting EICR domestic inspections
Working on planned installations for kitchens & new bathrooms etc.
Undertaking all aspects of electrical works associated with the repairs, installations and maintenance of properties
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage, ensuring the closing of completed jobs
Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies
Experience & Skills required:
Experience of working within domestic properties
Experience of working within social housing
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2357 (including AM2)
City & Guilds 2382-10 or 2382-20 (18th Edition)
City & Guilds 2391
