Job description

​We are currently partnering with a Manchester based Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client Is proud to provide excellent Housing across the Greater Manchester area, and are looking for the next surveyor to join them. This is a largely site-based role, however there will be opportunities to complete administrative work from home, as well as carry out virtual surveys.

This is a full-time position, paying up to £27 per hour on an Umbrella basis dependent on experience. They are looking for someone to start the role as soon as possible, and this will be subject to notice periods.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Planning and conducting surveys to identify the root causes of Damp and Mould issues

  • Identifying remedial works that needed to be carried out

  • Reaching out to contractors in regards to specialist works that needed to be carried out

  • Ensuring works that were being carried out were in budget and to specifications

  • Producing Scott schedules for senior management to analyse

Experience required:

  • Experience in damp and mould maintenance

  • Understanding of disrepair and associated processes

  • 36 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, this can be made up flexibly
